You row, you spin, you hike, you lift. Evercoach counts all of it, plans your week around the life you actually have, and rewrites the plan the moment things change.

Safety

The part we refuse to leave to a prompt.

A prompt is advice. We wanted enforcement.

Tell the coach your shoulder has been bad since Tuesday and something concrete happens. Not a note in a conversation it might remember. A set of restrictions, written down, that every plan from that moment on is checked against before it reaches you.

They are written in plain English on purpose, so that you can read them, and so that a physiotherapist could read them too and tell you whether they are right.

You said

“My right shoulder has been bad since Tuesday.”

What that means, until you say otherwise
  • Nothing overhead. No press, no jerk, no pull-up.
  • No bench and no dips - pressing across the body is out too, not just above your head.
  • Nothing on that side goes above a 6 out of 10 for effort.
  • Legs, core and everything on the other side carry on exactly as planned.

The first plan it wrote this week still had an overhead press in it on Thursday. You never saw that plan.

It is not the coach deciding to be careful.

The restrictions are worked out on our server, fresh, every single time a plan is made. The app just shows you the answer - it never reaches it, and it cannot be talked round.

Nothing about your health goes to a cheaper model.

Not on the free tier, not on a heavy month, not after any usage limit. There is no threshold past which this stops being true, and that is checked by a test rather than promised in a policy.

It stays until you say it goes.

Nothing returns to normal because a few weeks have passed. The coach will ask, and it will keep asking - but the restriction comes off when you take it off.

Evercoach is a coach, not a clinician. It will tell you when something needs a real one, rather than quietly programming around it.

Why I built this

Every app I tried counted one of the four things I do.

I row. I go to spin. I hike at weekends. And I still want to lift properly. Every coaching app I tried counted one of those four.

I had a trainer, then Trainwell, then a year of asking an AI for programmes and retyping them into Hevy by hand. None of it knew about Saturday. So I built the thing I wanted.

Questions

The ones worth asking.

I do more than lift. Does that work?

That is the reason it exists. Rowing, cycling, classes, swimming, hiking and walking all count as training, and they change what the gym days look like. Connect Strava or Concept2 and they arrive on their own; tell the coach about a class you booked and it plans around it. A six-hour hike on Saturday means Sunday is different, and you do not have to explain that to it more than once.

Can I bring my history from another app?

Yes, and it is the first thing you should do. Connect Hevy, Strava or Concept2 and it reads your last ninety days before the interview starts, so the first plan is built on what you have really been doing rather than on what you said in a form. The same workout arriving from more than one source is collapsed into one session rather than counted twice. Disconnect whenever you like - the imported history stays, and export is on the free tier.

What happens if I have a bad week?

Nothing happens. You say so, and the plan moves. Your streak counts qualifying weeks rather than consecutive days, the week in progress can extend it but never breaks it, and grace is earned back over the following four weeks. Skipping the check-in is a first-class outcome with its own path through the app, not a failure state - there is no shaming copy anywhere in the product because there is no code that produces it.

Is this a chatbot with a workout template behind it?

No, and the difference is checkable. A template app picks a programme and fits you to it; this generates a week against your history, your equipment, your calendar and your constraints, then puts that week through a safety engine before you see it. Every prescription is also written in a form the tracker can record - the table that decides which fields an exercise has is the same one the planner reads, so you will never be asked for reps of a plank or a weight for a run. That specific bug is designed out rather than caught in testing.

What actually happens the day I hurt something?

You tell your coach, in the same thread you use for everything else. The injured region maps to a set of concrete restrictions in a static table - not a note in a prompt - and those restrictions apply to every plan generated from that moment on. The coach explains what it has swapped and why, and it keeps explaining if you ask again next week. Nothing returns to normal because time has passed; it returns when you say it has.

Does it replace a physiotherapist or a doctor?

It does not, and it will tell you so rather than hedging. Evercoach coaches around what a clinician has told you: give it the restriction and it plans inside it. It does not diagnose, it does not decide when you are ready to load something again, and it does not overrule advice you have been given. If what you describe sounds like it needs a real assessment, it says that instead of programming around it.

What happens to what I tell it?

It is used to coach you, and you can take it with you. Export is on the free tier, not held behind a subscription - withholding your own history to force a renewal is not a business model. Anything health-bearing you say is never routed to a cheaper model to save margin, at any tier, past any usage threshold; that is asserted in the test suite rather than promised in a policy. And the coach is told your constraints so its first attempt is usually right, but the output is checked regardless of what it was told.

Do I need a gym?

No. Equipment is part of the interview, and a plan for a bench and two dumbbells is a real plan rather than a degraded one. If your equipment changes - you join somewhere, you travel, the squat rack is always taken - say so and the next week is built around what you actually have.

It takes five minutes to be understood.

Answer some questions. Get a week that fits. Change it whenever you need to.
